Hello folks. Well, we're still in the spring season, just. To coincide with the release of ‘A Song Of Spring’ on vinyl, we'd also like to present the new ‘A Song Of Spring’ edition of Behind The Music.
As always, I go in-depth about the creation of the album and the inspirations behind the songs. This time, I'm joined by John and Elizabeth Holden, as they talk with me about the album and the lyrics they contributed. The album also features an unreleased and unheard bonus track, which is linked with one of the tracks on the original album.
Once again this is a name your price release, so it's free, but if you do want to throw any money in the hat, it is always appreciated. Admittedly, some of the brass sounds used here work, well, less good than others ;-) That being said, what a nice surprise release from the Mothster's past - a Swing record for a change. Is this all done by the multi-intrumental man himself? A little info about the where- and whenabouts of these recordings would be fine... And as always with Pete: Amazing singing! All in all, I enjoyed this out-of-the-blue (or rather, from-his-pre-prog-past) recordings a lot! Carsten Pieper
